Our Story

Welcome to our social enterprise, “Bounce for a Cause”. Behind Bounce for a Cause is a community group called Urban Neighbours of Hope, whose motto is 'be the change you want to see in the world'.

Our focus is Christian 'community-led development' where we support local leaders with programmes and resources that help build and sustain neighbourhooding. We often supply a 'free' castle for Street Parties in the Randwick Park neighbourhood.

Our young people run three youth programmes in our community which mentors and exposes our youth to new experiences, creating spaces to develop their dreams and hopes.

One thing that our young people would love to have is a part-time job. A lot of youth are declined from work as they don’t have previous work experience. So our dilemma is - how can our youth gain work experience when no one is willing to hire them because they don’t have work experience?

Our solution is, Bounce for a Cause. We give youth in our neighbourhood the opportunity to gain work experience so that they can pursue brighter futures. This is the cause we are bouncing for!

Our profits help to sustain Randwick Park with funding into our youth programmes and community projects. By reinvesting our profits into our hood, we keep creating the change we want see in our neighbourhood. It takes a village to raise a child, and we want to create a great village that raises great children.
